Brian Bauer Obituary, Death – With his family by his side, 62-year-old Brian F. Bauer died away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Toni & Trish House of Auburn. The late Franklin H. Bauer and Helen Fogarty Bauer welcomed him into the world on April 5, 1961. He was the proud proprietor of a respiratory company for a number of years prior to retiring in 2022. Brian loved a good conversation, was always willing to help others, and had a great sense of humour.

He also had a golden heart. His lively personality will be missed! He was an avid sports fan, particularly following the Detroit Lions and Tigers. He cherished the time he spent with his family. To him, family was everything. His wife of forty years, Michele (Toyzan) Bauer, whom he wed on February 5, 1983, is still alive. His children and grandkids are also living. The children of Benjamin F. (Vanessa Hennes) Bauer, Kyle A. (Katlyn) Bauer, Zachary B. (Kathryn) Bauer, and Henry J. Bauer are Henry J. Bauer, Lennon R. Bauer, and Brezlan Z. Bauer. Timothy Bauer, Joy Keeler (Richard), Kerry Watson (David), Lori Rowan (William) and Matthew Bauer (Beth) are brothers and sisters.

Along with several nieces and nephews, two aunts, Diane Centala and Lucy Bauer, and three brothers-in-law, Scott (Brenda) Toyzan, Robin (Debbie) Toyzan, and Brian (Kristy) Toyzan. In addition, he leaves behind two lifelong pals, John and Bob, with whom he had many antics and camaraderie. Brian’s parents, Franklin H. and Helen Fogarty Bauer, as well as his mother-in-law, Mary Jane Toyzan, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Judy Bauer, all passed away before him. We are very grateful to The Toni & Trish House and Cardinal Hospice for their kind assistance.

The Ambrose Funeral Home, 1200 Garfield Ave., Bay City, MI 48708, will host a visitation on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. At 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, All Saints Parish, St. James Catholic Church will host the funeral mass. The celebrant will be Father Dale Orlik.
