Paul Walker had a massive career in the movie industry. However, his life was cut short at 40 when he died in a car crash that claimed his friend's life.

The lovers of the "Fast and Furious" franchise would never forget Paul Walker, who played Brian O'Conner. Sadly, the American actor lost his life in 2013 after he was involved in a fatal car crash.

Several years after the Hollywood star's death, his mother, Cheryl Walker, opened up about her final conversation with Paul before his demise. In the interview, she revealed that the actor was in the best spirits on the morning of his death.

Paul had forgotten he was to attend an event and began a conversation with Cheryl. The mother and son duo were engrossed in their discussion when the former received a text message and screamed:

"Oh My Gosh, I'm supposed to be somewhere."

Immediately, Paul rushed out of the door to attend a charity car show for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide. Hours after the event ended on November 30, 2013; Paul decided to go for a spin with his friend, Roger Radas, in a Red Carrera GT Porsche.

Reports had it that the car was at high speed when it exploded, killing the duo instantly. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department made it known that the police responded to a collision report, and on arrival, they found a car engulfed in flames.

Snapshots revealed that the car involved was a red Porsche, confirming it was his car. Following his death, the actor's daughter filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche. She noted that the sports car her father was riding in had multiple design flaws.

However, Porsche refuted all allegations, noting that the sports car had been abused and altered. Court documents filed by the company relayed that all tragic incidents of that day resulted from Paul's fault.

Since his demise, the actor's family members have honored his memory and celebrated his posthumous birthdays with lovely posts. On Paul's 44th birthday in 2017, his daughter, Meadow, marked the occasion with touching photos and a tribute.

She posted throwback pictures of herself and her father, and in the caption, she urged her fans to do good in remembrance of her father. Meadow started the "Do Good" challenge and encouraged her followers to tag along.

The late star would have been 48 yesterday, and Meadow made sure to keep her father's legacy alive. She shared childhood throwback photos of herself and her dad on Instagram, and in the caption, she reaffirmed her love for the actor.

Apart from Meadow's posts, Paul's family members have a ritual done every year to keep his memory alive. They visit one of Paul's favorite surf spots, Huntington Beach.

There, everyone throws sunflowers into the ocean and tells their favorite memory of the actor. Above all, Cheryl is grateful for the letters she gets from those whose lives were affected by Paul.
